Market data methodology and editorial standards
Velocoin is a research and market-discovery platform. We present current information from identified market and editorial sources without representing it as personalized financial advice.
Market data
Token prices, liquidity, volume, transactions and pair creation times are obtained from supported third-party market-data sources. Coverage varies by blockchain and exchange. Values can update at different intervals, may be delayed and can differ from executable prices.
Discovery rankings
Velocoin builds a limited candidate set from supported market-data feeds, which can include provider-promoted or boosted assets and assets pinned for discovery. Gainers, losers, top volume, top liquidity and new-pair pages then order that available set by the named observation. These views do not represent the entire crypto market and are not endorsements, ratings or predictions.
Verification before action
Names and symbols can be duplicated. Users should verify the blockchain, contract address, trading venue, liquidity and primary project disclosures. Velocoin does not guarantee token legitimacy, liquidity availability or future value.
Editorial process
Research articles distinguish sourced facts from analysis, identify publication or update dates and link to primary or reputable sources when available. Automated feeds remain attributed to their original publishers. Material corrections should be reflected transparently in the affected article.
Advertising and promoted discovery
Paid placements sold directly by Velocoin are labeled as advertising. Separately, upstream discovery feeds may identify assets as promoted or boosted, and Velocoin may pin assets for discovery. These signals are not editorial endorsements or investment recommendations.
Limitations
Crypto markets are volatile and decentralized data can be incomplete. Velocoin may remove or limit unreliable, unlawful or unsupported information, but no screening process eliminates financial, technical or regulatory risk.
